Merry Christmas
Santa Claus spends 350 days a year shoveling snow in the North Pole. For the last few days he tried to do some sporting activities — golfing, surfing, skateboarding, mountain biking, even rock climbing.

Basketball fans in Sassari - Sardinia’s second largest city - were recently treated to a special halftime show. A group of nuns, monks and priests performed a routine to disco music while wearing traditional robes and habits. The group is on a tour of Italian discos and nightclubs to spread the message of Christianity to young people.

Among other things Technorati is taking a look at the most popular topics, finding out that three-quarters of bloggers cover three or more topics. 19% of all blogs cover religion/spirituality and 16% cover sports. Religion beats sports. That is hard to imagine compared to TV ratings. Is the blogosphere really that different?
